An introduction to the Vayus. This is a tale told in five chapters, each in light of one of the Vayus, or ‘winds’.  The intention behind this workshop is to add a new dimension to your practice and work with the subtler layer of the mind and body.  Expect to encounter old friends, asana, pranayama and meditation, seeing them anew under the influence of Udana, Prana, Samana, Apana and Vyana. This solstice, take a break from your preparations to take care of yourself. Celebrate with a detoxing flow to get heat in your bones and deep stretches. We will explore using mindfulness to stay centred during the transition to winter and time with our families. Finishing with supported restorative poses to rejuvenate you, you will leave refreshed and ready for whatever the season brings. Wonderful winter! Is there a more magical time to be pregnant? It’s a great excuse to nest and nurture with a rejuvenating pregnancy workshop. We will begin with a nourishing flow class to energise you and your growing baby, including some rejuvenating breath work to ease any seasonal holiday tensions. We will then break for tea, Christmas treats and some newborn troubleshooting, exploring breastfeeding positions and tips. To finish off nestle in for a delicious lying down meditation, or yoga Nidra, with a special focus on your pregnancy. Get ready to feel very cosy and relaxed! Sunday 21st of December, 3-5.30pm £25
