Mindfulness invites us to bring our full awareness to our present moment experience - opening up to ourselves with a gentle, loving attention. Through cultivating qualities such as compassion, curiosity, acceptance and non-striving we learn to explore our experience as we find it, rather than falling into our habitual patterns and stories.
Whilst we often consider mindfulness in the context of sitting meditation, in truth it expands out to every aspect of our lives. This workshop will explore how embodying these qualities can enhance our yoga practice. Through a slow, flowing practice and moments of stillness we will cultivate a listening presence to our moment-by-moment experience so that we can take the insights we gain to support our lives off the mat.
