Yoga is a great way of reconnecting with your body. And it’s wonderful tool for people who are already anxious but might it be well used as a way of preventing, not merely managing our anxiety? What if we get on our mat and use it to lament the day’s concerns before they start to spiral? Naomi’s workshop is all about catching thoughts before they run away from us, watching how and where the body holds patterns of tension and finding ways to deeply rest as a profound tool for self-care and self-compassion. In the session she will help you develop ideas for your own self-practice as well as understand a bit of the science behind restorative practices and why they are good for us.
